Do you want to know how to become a millionaire?
Well, in order to start your own journey you need to first answer one question:
What separates a millionaire from the average person?
Most people would say luck, being born into wealth, or hard work. Now, I am going to prove how each of these reasons is entirely incorrect.
- Luck - Frankly, I shouldn’t even dignify this with a response. Here’s why: Regardless of your religious or spiritual belief system, it is ignorant to think that some people are inherently more ‘lucky’ than the rest of the population.
Even if you remove the logical component, and we assume there is some sort of karma in the world, why even bother trying to be successful since this type of thinking correlates directly with having a ‘fate’ or predestined life.
- Born Into Wealth – Another common misconception is that it takes money to make money. While this may hold true for already prospering companies, (where advertising and marketing takes up a majority of their budget, along with having a set price per customer), it does not mean the average person needs money to be successful in the world.
In fact, with a little of the next bullet point (hard work) you can grind your way to a moderately successful lifestyle. The difference is that we are contemplating the difference between the average person and a billionaire today, not just a mildly wealthy person.
- Hard Work – This last point is the easiest to refute. The majority of the workforce is made up of ‘hard workers.’ Every person out there working two shifts a night, and an extra weekend job, just to make ends meet is a ‘hard worker’ by definition. There’s a reason why the same people asking how to become a millionaire are also the ones who work the hardest in everyday life.
Change Your Mindset: Change Your World
To the contrary, this proves that hard work alone will not guarantee greater success financially. Clearly thinks like dedication, passion for your job, and being a strong worker will help you along the line, but these are not defining factors in overall monetary freedom.
Here’s what really separates a millionaire from the average population – I call it the ‘millionaire mindset’ – its your outlook on business, money, and life in general.
People who are successful (and I mean seriously successful, the presidents, CEO’s, and billionaires) are open-minded and are willing to take risks.
Now there’s a common denominator with people who want to learn how to become a millionaire: you have the desire, probably understand the mindset, but you lack the direction. Most people who are 50% of the way to becoming a millionaire are stuck due to their own limiting beliefs.
Common Limiting Factors/Beliefs
Most people’s limiting beliefs are things like fear of failure, fear of success (yeah, you wouldn’t except it, but its one of the largest problems in the modern business world), and fear of change.
Take some time to figure out what your REAL fear is, and why it has inhabited your thoughts.
Most people think that they understand their problem, when the real set-back in their financial world is much more complex than originally imagined.
Once you are able to get over your own limiting beliefs, the inner-game of marketing/business, you will unlock the answer towards how to become a millionaire.
